Kista Science City – the creation of Europe’s largest ICT cluster!
Light lunch and networking

Kista is a Science City and a creative melting pot with thousands of companies, researchers and students that collaborate to develop and grow. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the most prominent field in Kista Science City, which sometimes is referred to as the Silicon Valley of Stockholm.

Kista is northern Europe’s largest ICT cluster and is unique in the high concentration of competence, innovations and business opportunities within ICT. Ericsson, Microsoft och IBM are some of the larger ICT corporations located here and there are more than 1000 other large and small ICT companies in the area. 6800 students study at the ICT programs at Stockholm University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Åke Lindström will share with you the history of Kista Science City, information on the opportunities that are available and the outcome of the visionary meeting “Kistamötet” that took place in 2012.

Åke Lindström is the Marketing Director for Kista Science City working to promote and attract new business to KSC and encourage strong cooperation between academia, research, and municipal and private activities in the area by actively strengthening and developing Kista Science City’s various networks.
