EIT ICT Labs makes you walk on water during the second Dutch Technology Week!
From 31 May to 7 June inclusive, High Tech Campus, EIT ICT Labs and other businesses in the Brainport region are joining forces to help raise awareness of technology & innovation among the general public. As smartest square kilometer, High Tech Campus Eindhoven just has to take part. That is why this year it is going to be one of the hotspots during the Dutch Technology Week.
HighTech Discovery Route
Have you always wanted to have a look around the High Tech Campus Eindhoven? Well, now you can! On Saturday 1 June we will be open and there will be an interesting and interactive programme on offer. It's nice to look, but it is even more fun if you can have a go yourself! That is why a number of Campus companies and some members of Brainport Industries organise the one and only HighTech Discovery Route. You will have an opportunity to take an amazing look behind the scenes in top technology businesses, so bring your family & friends and come and visit the Campus.
What can you expect?
During the HighTech Discovery Route you will find out about various (Campus) companies and their innovation challenges. For example, you will be able to see what new technologies they are working on at Philips Research, VDL ETG Research and Holst Centre. There will also be lots of demos and hands-on activities for young and old alike, such as building your own Segway, playing a game on a giant iPad, operating a 3D printer and even playing football against a robot!
Fun and tasty
If you end up feeling hungry after all this top technology, don't worry because there will be delicious snacks and drinks available at our very own Grand Café on The Strip. You will find soup, toasties and spicy pita breads and, who knows, you may even be brave enough to try a nitrogen ice pop from sCoolscience! You'll find there's a wide variety of delicious and delightful food on offer! And if you need some healthy exercise you can walk on water with EIT ICT Labs.
