EIT Digital-supported scaleup Evolution Energie has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with General Electric (GE) to collaborate on expertise and technologies to develop innovative energy management solutions for cities, utilities and industrials.
Evolution Energie is a Paris-based leading software editor for energy monitoring, environmental reporting, commodities trading and risk management solutions, used by the world’s largest airports and corporations in more than 40 countries.
In this MoU, Evolution Energie will provide its software expertise to GE’s Grid Solutions to develop innovative energy management solutions for cities, utilities and industrials.
“Combining our expertise will allow us to penetrate new markets and to jointly accelerate our ambitions” said Erwin Guizouarn, CEO of Evolution Energie. “This will allow large energy players and cities to develop breakthrough energy management solutions for their new smart projects and existing portfolios.”
Evolution Energie was admitted in the EIT Digital Accelerator in 2014, in the Digital Infrastructure Action Line. The EIT Digital Accelerator helps the company to reinforce its expertise by addressing two new airports: Nice airport in France and Stansted airport in the UK.
